Join us for an exciting Summer Color Guard Camp designed for beginners and experienced performers alike! Participants will learn fundamental techniques including flag work, choreography, timing, and performance skills. Jumpstart Orchestra, 2-week course for current 4th-5th graders. who have not taken orchestra before. Focuses on the basics of instrument technique, instrument care, rhythm, and note reading along with learning some beginning songs on your instruments Intermediate orchestra, 2-week course for current 5th and 6th graders that have already taken beginning orchestra for one year. Focus on mastering the basic positions of all four strings of your instrument along with some extensions and low second fingers. We will be reviewing concepts taught in 5th and 6th grade and learn some fun music together. The Sossaman Middle School Summer Robotics Club is a hands-on program for students in grades 4th-8th that builds creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills. Session Overview: Session A Students learn the basics of robotics by building and programing robots using VEX IQ kits, sensors, and VEX code. Session Overview Session B- is designed for students interested in VEX competitions, focusing on the 2026-2027 challenges through robot design, programming, game strategy, and competition preparation.
