Mandarin Immersion STEM Summer CampSTEMThis summer, give your child a chance to keep their Mandarin growing through meaningful, hands-on learning. Our DLI Mandarin & STEM Summer Camp is designed for immersion students who want to use Chinese in real ways—while exploring science, creating projects, and building confidence. Throughout the week, students will: Use Mandarin through interactive games and communication activities Explore science topics like ecosystems and food chains Build hands-on STEM projects that make learning concrete and engaging Participate in collaborative tasks that encourage speaking, thinking, and problem-solving Students won’t just review vocabulary they will use Mandarin to explore, explain, and understand the world around them. Summer RoboticsSTEMThe Sossaman Middle School Summer Robotics Club is a hands-on program for students in grades 4th-8th that builds creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills. Session Overview: Session A Students learn the basics of robotics by building and programing robots using VEX IQ kits, sensors, and VEX code. Session Overview Session B- is designed for students interested in VEX competitions, focusing on the 2026-2027 challenges through robot design, programming, game strategy, and competition preparation.
