Early Kinder TestingEnrichment ProgramsEarly Entrance Kindergarten Assessment Dates and times are subject to change. Assessment is designed to test kindergarten readiness. A non-refundable fee of $60.00 will be due at the time of registration. Registration will reserve your testing spot, testing times/dates will be scheduled in May. The Early Entrance Kindergarten Assessment will take place in June. The results of the early entrance assessment are final, HUSD does not have an appeal process. District will charge tuition for the second year of kindergarten enrollment in the amount of the basic state aid received for other kindergarten students.(link Policy JEB) Testing will last approximately one hour. Parents/guardians must stay on site until the testing is complete. We will not permit parents/guardians in the testing classroom. The Home Economist, LLC is proud to offer the Higley F.I.T. Crew; an after-school enrichment program designed to turn high school students into Financially Intelligent Teens by teaching the basics of personal finance and how to build a strong financial foundation. Topics include saving, spending, investing, insurance, identity theft, debt, credit, college & career planning, estate planning, donating, and taxes.
